Sartorio

A new identity for Sartorio built around the concept of Legal Boutique

Web

Background

Sartorio is a law firm distinguished by its ability to provide highly personalised, top-tier legal services. Coinciding with the move to new offices and the creation of a bespoke interior space, the firm took the opportunity to rethink its entire identity in order to better align it with its positioning and the quality of service it delivers.

Concept

The new identity was created to convey the attributes that define Sartorio: rigour, solidity, and professional excellence. These values are consistently expressed across all visual and communication touchpoints. Every strategic and design decision responds to this objective, ensuring coherence with the firm’s approach, practice, and way of working.

Brand expression

The project is built around a descriptor that captures the firm’s distinctive character: Legal Boutique. The term Legal clearly identifies the sector, while Boutique communicates the idea of a close, exclusive, and highly personalised service.

From a visual perspective, the identity is anchored by a logo featuring a distinctive serif typeface capable of conveying both rigour and solidity. A custom intervention on the letter “T” makes the mark unique and subtly references elements associated with the legal profession, such as classical columns and the scales of justice.

The colour palette also plays a key role in the identity, establishing a dialogue with the firm’s new offices, which are characterised by dark tones, black walls, and refined materials such as wood.

The visual system is completed by a minimalist approach to composition and typography, reflecting Sartorio’s way of working: clear, direct, effective, and transparent.

Implementation

The new identity has been implemented across a range of applications, including signage elements within the new offices, traditional stationery pieces such as business cards and envelopes, and a new website. The project also included a dedicated photography session to capture both the new workspace and the team.
